I Received A Mandatory transfer from one Illinois Correctional facility to another. The reason for this transfer, I was told, was because someone who was entering had declared me their enemy. This meant that the two of us should not be in the same institution. When I was given his name, I investigated the situation because I had no idea who this person was. What I found out combined with his request convinces me that he is the true perpetrator of this crime.

The locality is exactly the same; Beverly area train station, then taken into the woods. The manner in which the crimes were committed is exactly the same; grabbed victims from behind threatening their life should they look, and robbed personal items.

He was convicted based on DNA evidence. Sometime after he was arrested for the 1980 case, pertinent evidence in my case was destroyed. I have been continually seeking remedy for my situation since my incarceration, filing motions, etc., so there was no valid reason for this evidence to be destroyed, and a very strong reason for it to be maintained.
